Cups!

While the wand energy we looked at before we got into the cups was active and energized, the cups are receptive and mysterious.  The cups are all about emotion, about what’s lying under our subconscious, and are about tuning in to our shadow selves.  The cups have everything to do with emotional maturity, spirituality, relationships, and love.

The Page of Cups transitions us from the foundational aspects of the suit of Cups, love, emotion, and intuition, to the more complex.  This is the transition to big love and complex emotions.  Like the other Pages, the Page of Cups reminds us to pause and reflect before charging forward.  In this case, we’re pausing for a moment and looking at the world through a child’s eyes again.  We’re allowing ourselves to be surprised by joy and love that’s all around us.

We made it to the Cups!  Emotion!  Love!  Intuition!  Here we go!

The Ace of Cups is an overflow of emotion and is easy to remember with the overflowing cup.  You’re bursting with feeling whether its love, empathy, or enthusiasm.  Now is a great time for connecting.  

Page of Wands/Sister of Fire

The Page of Wands shows a young man or woman looking out over a barren desert, considering the possibilities.  He’s got an air of confidence and is the guy who inspires change.  The prior wands have been really hustling to get their work done.  Here the Page is taking a pause, learning to mature that fire energy.  He’s learned we get burned with that fire when we rush.  The card is a reminder to release some of the past energy we don’t need to carry forward any longer.  He reminds us to pause, reflect, and breathe before we take that next leap.

Spirit is presenting a Wand – it’s like an opportunity is being presented to us.  We’re presented with our passion, our inspiration, our spark of creativity is happening here.  The Ace cards are also about our pure potential.  We have the potential to bring this creative dream into reality – all we need to do is put in the work.
